The City of Troy trash curbside collection of yard waste (grass clippings, leaves, bundled sticks) begins on Wednesday April 8th. Place yard waste in 35-gallon (maximum) containers with a City of Troy yard waste sticker (available for free at any City building) OR in a paper yard waste bags.

• Yard waste cannot be collected as trash or in plastic bags.
• Yard waste containers may not exceed 50 lbs (as per SOCRRA’s contract) and items must be small enough to fit into the container (under 3 feet in length).
• Brush or branches shall be 2 inches in diameter or smaller and cut to less than 3 feet in length, bundled and tied.
